Dr. Kerra-Lei Tirado
A native of Silver Spring, Dr. Kerra-Lei Tirado loves being able to help those in her community achieve their healthiest and most dazzling smiles through exceptional dentistry. For her, one of the best parts of her job is building strong relationships with her patients while providing life-changing care to improve both their oral and overall health. Her main goal is to utilize her expertise along with her compassion for others to develop a whole-health approach to dental care. Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Tirado graduated from Sherwood High School and went to attend Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, to obtain her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She later studied at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Today, she remains dedicated and passionate about pursuing online and hands-on continuing education courses to refine and expand her expertise in the field. Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Whenever she isn’t at the practice treating and maintaining her patients’ pearly whites, Dr. Tirado loves spending time with her friends and loved ones. Her family comes from a small Caribbean country, and she looks forward to traveling there amongst other places when she gets the opportunity. At home, she enjoys cooking, trying new cuisines, going on adventures, exercising, and staying as active as possible. One fun fact about her: she used to play volleyball during high school and college.
